Fifteen years ago, when we created Toqué!, we wanted to showcase Québec products and the people who worked to supply us with them.

We believe, now more than ever, that we need to continue to emphasize the contribution of these suppliers, who are true artisans. We have them to thank for our products, from duck foie gras to wild glasswort, from lamb to young vegetables, and from seafood to fresh herbs.

These tireless artisans inspire Toqué!’s cuisine, to which they bring various tastes, textures and natural flavours
of unparalleled freshness.

Your hosts, Christine Lamarche and Normand Laprise

Toqué! Pays Tribute to Renaud-Cyr

Each year, the Renaud-Cyr Award rewards gastronomic artisans of Quebec. To celebrate and honour the 2007 winners of this prestigious award, Toqué! hosted a benefit dinner this past February 26th. A total of $7,000 was raised from the dinner and from the Silent Auction, all of which was given to the Renaud-Cyr Committee. Following a convivial concept, the artisanal producers attending that night set about meeting new guests between each course. "A formula which facilitated exchanges and which was particularly appreciated", said Françoise Kayler, Vice President of the Renaud-Cyr Committee.
